These laughing gulls are paired up as they stand in the shallow water. I came across this scene while kayaking. These seagulls were really standing just like this. This painting is an original watercolor on 260lb Arches paper. Laughing gulls have a dark head and are a nice looking bird. As you might have guessed these shorebirds sound like they are laughing.
