Morning at the beach reveals gold, violet, pink and blue colors in the sand dunes. The morning palms sit atop the dunes at this stretch along A1A in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This original acrylic on canvas has 3 palm trees with coconuts. A variety of grasses and vegetation on the sand dunes.
I started this painting with a gold underpainting and that can still be seen in areas throughout the painting. This creates a nice tranparent color among the translucent and opaque areas of paint. There is texture in the foreground sand dunes and grasses.
The clouds are low on the horizon and a sailboat is cruising along in this original painting. A nice Florida scene for your wall. Can be puchased with a quality picture frame of your choice.
