Description
Northern Lights Winter Landscape – Holiday Tree Painting
PJ Cook painted this winter landscape watercolor to show the quiet magic of a snowy holiday tree. The tree glows with soft, multicolored Christmas lights under a night sky inspired by the Northern Lights. In addition, the gentle washes of color and luminous atmosphere echo the aurora borealis. This effect creates a sense of wonder that works beautifully beyond the holiday season.
Snow-laden evergreens and glowing Christmas lights warm the winter scene. This original watercolor works beautifully for seasonal décor and appeals to collectors who enjoy tranquil northern landscapes. Additionally, the painting fits a ready-made frame, which makes framing simple and affordable.
Painted in watercolor on professional paper, this original artwork is signed by the artist on the front and back and ships free within the U.S.
This piece pairs beautifully with PJ Cook’s other winter landscape works, including the Snowy Evergreen Tree watercolor.

Living by the sea inspires P.J. to paint the rolling surf, shorebirds, and ever-changing skies along the coast. She paints along Connecticut’s Long Island Sound and Florida’s southeastern shore.
