Description
For the Roses is an original oil of flowers in a glass mason jar. Violet, green and white are the featured colors. The white roses have highlights of blue, pink and yellow. I painted this directly while viewing the bouquet on a table in front of me. There was light coming in from a window that created the various highlights.
