This red flower still life features onions and garlic along with an intense red flower in a smokey glass vase. This original oil on canvas is 12″ x 12″. The collection of items are set on a brightly patterned tablecloth of red and white.
Continuing with my fascination of colored glass I decided to paint this small glass vase. This flower still life includes a clear smokey colored glass vase with a single stem red flower. The glass vase is reflected onto a white ceramic container in the center of this still life painting. A wood rolling pin, onions and garlic round out the items in this flower still life.
Living by the sea year round has inspired P.J. to paint the rolling surf, shorebirds, and the ever changing skies found along the coastline. P.J. spends her time in Connecticut on the shores of Long Island Sound and during the winter months she can be found painting along the southeastern coast of Florida.
