About Me and My Art

My work focuses on the natural beauty around us that often goes unnoticed. With the fast-paced lifestyles most of us lead we tend to forget the beauty of dewdrops on a flower or the fog coming in across the water like a blanket. When people see my work, I’d like them to remember when they were in a similar place and what feelings or emotions it stirred.

My favorite subjects are flowers, animals, shore scenes and birds found along the New England coast.   I come from a family of boaters and we enjoy fishing and cruising Long Island Sound where I often get inspiration for many of my paintings.  My studio is located in beautiful Old Lyme, Connecticut where I explore the rivers and marshes in my kayak.
